Following the acclaimed release of ‘Footnote to Love (Part One)’ earlier this year, Ajimal returns with a stunning live version of brand new track ‘I’ve Known Your Heart’, filmed for Blank Sessions.

Featuring Fran O’Hanlon and guests Mark, Ben and Matt from Tessera Skies, the soulful ballad builds with halcyon dual piano lines, gorgeous harmonies and incredibly touching lyrics about the significance of the tiniest changes in someone.

Ajimal returns in 2013 with a brand new single before the full release of concept mini-album ‘Childhood’.

Debut single ‘Footnote to Love [Part One]’ is out now on Pop Sex Ltd. 

Backed by b-side ‘Amputated Years’, ‘Footnote to Love [Part One]’ is the first track from upcoming release ‘Childhood’, recorded with producer Mick Ross (Frankie & the Heartstrings, Let’s Buy Happiness) and a number of close friends and respected musicians.

Record Store Day

As part of this year’s Record Store Day Pop Sex Ltd. have been holding back a few very rare physical copies of the ‘Footnote to Love [Part One]’ CD Single - available exclusively in Hot Rats Records, Sunderland on Saturday 20th April.

The limited edition versions sold out on the day of release but we secretly put aside 3 copies of POPSEX101 [with b-side ‘Amputated Years’] and 2 copies of POPSEX101.5 [with b-side ‘Apathy/Apatheia (piano version)’].

Record Store Day has become the highlight of the year for those still obsessed with physical releases and we all need to support our local independent record shops. They don’t come much better than Hot Rats so get yourselves along on for the day and get there early to get your hands on the single.

You can listen again here (1hr51m)  So that’s 6Music, Amazing Radio, XFM and now Radio 1 which is a pretty big deal for me and the Pop Sex lads. This weekend we’ll be cutting and sticking for hours to make some very special limited edition CDs. They’re very close to selling out too so get yourselves over to my Bandcamp page to pre-order yours. You’ll get an immediate free download of the single (and b-side) and we’ll be posting them later next week.
